The Management team is experienced in providing cost effective solutions to our clients needs, using existing, refined and/or new modules that meet specific requirements.

Our client's schedule is integral to our implementation program and we believe that customer standards and customised requirements are of paramount importance to the successful completion of each project.

Key Personnel:

Allen Matthews - Managing Director

Prior to setting up EMS Solutions in 1995 to support and develop the EMS-4GL UNIX product, Allen was the Assistant General Manager of Monaro Electricity, an electricity distributor in Southern New South Wales. During a career of over 30 years in both Local Government and the Electricity Industry in NSW, Allen qualified as a Local Government Clerk and has held senior positions responsible for all aspects of the following:

• Financial Management;
• Administration;
• Rating and Property;
• Customer Services;
• Utility Billing;
• Information Technology; and
• Business Process Re-Engineering.

Allen was the principle architect and designer of both the EMS-4GL and EMS-WASP® products and is responsible today for the overall management and success of EMS Solutions. He has a broad knowledge and understanding of the business models and processes required for world-class utility management. Using his Business, Financial and IT capabilities, Allen has converted this knowledge to develop a unique product (EMS-WASP®) that covers the core business functions of typical utilities, local government and asset based industries.

Geoff Collett - Technical Director

Geoff Collett is the Technical Director of EMS Solutions and is responsible for all technical issues with the EMS-WASP® product, including the EMS-WASP® system architecture and technical standards.

Geoff is a qualified Electrical Engineer and prior to recently re-joining EMS Solutions Geoff worked for a predecessor of Country Energy, one of Australia's largest Electricity Retail and Network businesses. He originally joined EMS Solutions in 1995 as the system architect and has since worked for Energy Australia as the Contestable Billing Manager and Objective Corporation (a major Document Management software supplier) as a Senior Solutions Architect. He has recently returned to EMS Solutions as Technical Director.
