The company has grown rapidly over the last two years, has a growing number of large utility clients, and competes successfully against large international software companies. Our software products can provide a major cost benefit in Asset intensive organisations where implemented and operated appropriately by clients. EMS provides business consultants to assist in the process of establishing best practice Asset and Works systems and processes that add value to our clients businesses. EMS's strategy is to take Asset Management software to a new level and has the potential to compete in the world markets outside of Australia and New Zealand. Allen further commented that "all this could only be achieved as a result of all the efforts of the great people within the EMS team". EMS became involved with these business awards to learn more about ourselves and to find out how we stood up against other innovative companies within the ACT and Australia generally. We also aimed to gain recognition for our people, our clients, our company, our products, services and to lift our "quiet achiever" profile. EMS has a range of clients who have supported EMS over the years and benefited from the relationship. This award is recognition of our business approach and clients can expect greater innovation and involvement from EMS in the future. On behalf of EMS, Allen thanked the organizing committee, the sponsors (and in particular Panasonic who sponsored the award won by EMS), Telstra and the Australian Capital Territory Government and most importantly the great team at EMS who made this success possible. |
