Project Overview:
To implement a comprehensive Asset and Works Management solution covering all aspects of recording, planning, maintaining, testing and constructing electricity distribution infrastructure assets.

Essential Energy is owned by the New South Wales Government, with around 4,000 employees in 142 customer and field service centres, nine regional offices. It also has four business centres in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle.

Essential Energy services more than 870,000 customers and manages Australia's largest power supply network which spans across 95 per cent of the New South Wales' land mass. With around 195,000 kilometres of powerlines, 1.4 million power poles, 113,000 distribution substations, 120,000 street lights and a range of other assets all managed within our EMS-WASP Asset and Works Management Solution.
